North America Bid Strategist

Bid Strategist Role Description: Lenovo is the fastest growing technology company on the planet, with growth out-pacing our competition quarter after quarter and we're still growing! At Lenovo we strive to put more innovation in the hands of more people so they can do more amazing things and are always looking for career minded individuals that want to be a part of our winning team.The Bid Strategist will own developing response strategies and driving the bid execution of some of Lenovo's most strategic and highest value bids. Strategy development will include outlining solution and product requirements, competitive threats and challenges, our financial approach, terms and condition compliance and leveraging Lenovo's strengths and advantages. They will collaborate with several cross functional teams, including finance, marketing, legal and Lenovo's North American sales teams to craft comprehensive and winning bid responses. As part of that process, the bid strategist will identify solution or capability gaps as well as any other enhancements that will benefit Lenovo's response capability and positioning. The bid strategist will also assist in profit roadmap creation, crafting profit recovery plays and establishing unique and creative value adds to best position Lenovo in our bids responses.Responsibilities include:Ability to develop & implement winning strategies and best practices for bid responsesUnderstanding of Lenovo's selling strategies, solutions and capabilitiesCollaboration with cross-functional teams inside and outside of Lenovo Develop tactics and strategies for winning and retaining businessWorking with sales team on profit recovery and/or customer recovery plays2HCampaign
Position Requirements
Requirements:Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Self-confidence, assertiveness and a positive attitude Ability to develop comprehensive response strategies for complex and unique bid solutionsFamiliarity with Lenovo's special bid process, product positioning and profit roadmapsHealthy relationships with Finance, Brand, Marketing and Category organizationsStrong project management skills5+ years previous sales experience

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
