Job Summary:
The person hired for the position of Implementation Specialist of Software Solutions, Connected Solutions and Communications will be responsible for the enablement of commercial execution for 3M - Scott Fire & Safety's range of software, smart phone based applications and communications offerings. You will work with the portfolio management, marketing, content and training teams to enhance the training and enablement of the sales and distribution network. In addition, you will work with the sales team and our customers to communicate the value proposition, develop implementation strategies, and drive adoption of these offerings. Current product offerings include applications that provide firefighter accountability, air management, and service / asset management solutions, firefighter product applications used to interface with the hardware devices as well as a suite of mask-mounted communications devices and hardware.
This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government, or military environments to a 3M career.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Drive sales growth of software and communications platforms through new sales and support tools and direct customer sales support
Establish training program for sales and distribution network
Insure on-time implementation of software platforms with large customer accounts
Support portfolio management and software development teams with customer needs identification and feature definition
Establish technical and thought leadership through workshops, webinars, and other educational content development
Support and implementation of new marketing campaigns
Assist in the development of market collateral support materials and product literature.
Articulate value proposition through training, customer visits, and industry events
Identification of customer needs, through execution of VoC activities
Ability to articulate both commercial and technical benefits to customers

Basic Qualifications:
Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Minimum of five (5) years of combined experience in Software Product Management and/or Sales in a private, public, government or military environment
Minimum of six (6) years of experience working with technical products in a private, public, government or military environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience working with technical products
Experience working with personal communications equipment, software offerings, and/or Accountability Systems strongly preferred.
Fire Services or Industrial software field experience
Past experience in technical sales consultancy or professional services preferred
Experience with the Municipal (Fire Services) and/or Industrial markets desired. Knowledge of wireless communications and/or Accountability Systems a plus
Location: Monroe, NC
Travel: May include up to 40% domestic
Relocation: Is authorized within country per 3M relocation policy
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
